Presidential Campaign Trailer of the Day: The Rick Perry Presidential Campaign’s first ad — directed by a 23-year-old Canadian-born filmmaker — refers to President Obama as “President Zero.”
Criticism of the moniker came swiftly, but not from the left. Rather, it was Perry’s Republican rival Mitt Romney who hit back: “Governor Perry criticizes President Obama for an economy that added zero jobs in August,” said Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul, “yet Texas added even fewer and has over a million people unemployed.”
It’s worth noting that both comments and ratings have been disabled on Perry’s video. Things that make you go hmm.
